Box Score The Ursuline College volleyball team evened their G-MAC record at 2-2 with a 3-0 win over visiting Kentucky Wesleyan on Saturday afternoon at the Jane and Lee Seidman Gymnasium.
Ursuline (6-12, 2-2) controlled the tempo in the first set en route to a 25-13 win before Kentucky Wesleyan (1-12, 0-2) put up a tough fight in the second set before falling 25-22. The Arrows finished off the sweep with a 25-19 win in the third to get their first home sweep.
The Arrows were led by junior Makayla Windau and sophomore Courtney Burns who each finished with eight kills. Senior Abbie Fabo added six for Ursuline while fellow senior Elise Harcek had six blocks. Senior Sabrina Kinney had 14 digs while freshman Katelyn Selleny had 27 assists.
Ursuline will face a tough road test on Tuesday when they travel to first-place Cedarville. The match is set to begin at 7:00pm.
