Box Score The Ursuline College volleyball team dropped a 3-1 decision on the road at Ohio Valley University on Friday night. The loss drops the Arrows to 2-4 in the G-MAC Blue Division.
The Arrows(6-18, 2-4), who were playing short-handed due to injuries, dropped the first set 25-14 before bouncing back and taking a hard fought second set 30-28.
Ohio Valley (9-15, 2-0) took the third set 25-12 and edged the Arrows 25-23 in the fourth and deciding set.
Ursuline was led by junior Makayla Windau who had 11 kills and sophomore Courtney Burns who finished with 10. Junior Sammi Marcum added nine kills for Ursuline. Freshman Kelsey Myers had a personal season-best six blocks and senior Abbie Fabo finished with 40 assists. Windau and senior Sabrina Kinney both finished with 21 digs.
The Arrows are right back in action on Saturday afternoon against Salem International. The match starts at 1:00pm and you can follow along with live stats.
