UC is now 1-7 overall and 1-1 in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference while Central State fell to 1-4 overall after dropping its conference opener.
After shooting under 30 percent in the first half, the Arrows found themselves down 41-29 at half. In the second half, freshman Makayla Rosselot scored 24 points on her way to a career-high 32 by connecting on all four of her three-point tries. She was 9-12 (75 percent) from the field.
Rosselot's classmate Madison Schroeder was huge in the second half as well as she poured in 12 of her career-high 14 points in the final 20 minutes of regulation.
UC won the second frame, 49-37, to force overtime when the game was tied at 78-78 after 40 minutes. Seniors Emma Ricketts and Brianna Woods scored 11 of the team's 13 points in OT and the Arrows cemented their first victory when CSU's Jordyn Bond missed what would have been a game-tying three-pointer right before the final buzzer.
When all was said and done, Ricketts had her second double-double of the year with a 20-point, 13 rebound performance. She scored six of Ursuline's 13 points in the five-minute overtime period while Woods had five and Rosselot hit a pair of free throws.
Rosselot also grabbed five rebounds in her 40 minutes of action and she dished out five assists without turning the ball over once.
Sophomore point guard Erica Huber scored 13 points and corralled seven rebounds while her backcourt mate Woods stuffed the stat sheet with seven points, seven assists, four rebounds and three steals.
Amanda Pierce led Central State with 24 points and 10 rebounds and her teammate Akbar Obong also had a double-double with 14 points and 14 boards. Bria Spaulding (19) and Iniquia Snell (18) both scored in double figures in the losing effort.
