LIMA, Ohio - Four Arrows scored in double figures as the Ursuline College basketball team won its second straight game, 85-81 at the University of Northwestern Ohio on Wednesday (Dec. 10) night.

Ursuline improved to 2-7 overall while the Racers, losers in three of their last four, dipped a game below the break-even mark at 5-6.

Senior forward Emma Ricketts led UC in both points (17) and rebounds (11) to pick up her third double-double of the year. She had one against Ohio Dominican University in the season opener and reached the milestone in UC's last game at Central State University on Saturday (Dec. 6).

Freshman guard Makayla Rosselot, fresh off a 32-point showing against CSU, continued to shoot the ball well and finished with 16 points. She knocked down three of her four three-point attempts.

After scoring 14 points in the first eight games of her collegiate career, freshman guard Camille Gist went for a career-high 13 on Wednesday night. Nine of her points came in 12 second half minutes.

Senior guard Brianna Woods finished with 12 points and her backcourt mate, sophomore Erica Huber, dished out a season-high 11 assists while adding nine points.

Ursuline led 52-31 at halftime after shooting 61.8 percent (21-34) from the field and a scorching 87.5 percent (7-8) from behind the arc in the first 20 minutes. The Racers won the second period 50-33 but never got closer than four and that came with 11 seconds left when Sammi Dervisevic nailed a three-pointer to make it an 83-79 game.

After sizzling in the first half, Ursuline missed all nine of its three-point attempts in the second stanza.

Northwestern Ohio won the rebounding battle by one, 40-39, and held a 20-7 advantage in second chance points. Ursuline also turned the ball over nine more times than the opposition (24-15) but still managed to win on the road.

The Arrows have another non-conference game on Saturday (Dec. 13) against the University of Rio Grande (6-4). That game will tipoff at 6:00 p.m. at John Carroll University's Tony DeCarlo Varsity Center and will be covered will free live audio and the Pizzazz on the Circle Live Stats.
