Hiram/Malone Tri-Meet Results

HIRAM, Ohio - The Ursuline College swimming team came up empty at the Hiram College Tri-Meet on Friday (Nov. 7) night
.
The Arrows were defeated by the host Terriers (65-34) and Malone University (70-25) to slip to 0-6 (0-4 in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) on the year.

Freshman Reagan Meyers came in second in both the 50 meter free (30.09) and the 100 meter free (1:08.23). She also swam first on the top 200 meter free relay team.

Ursuline's quartet of Meyers, junior Nichole Shake, sophomore Hannah Jorz and sophomore Rachael Fogel finished the 200 free relay in 2:07.54 to out-touch Malone's team by a quarter of a second (2:07.79).

Fogel matched Meyers with two second place touches. She was the runner-up in both the 200 meter IM (2:41.69) and 200 meter breast (3:00.62).

Jorz took third in both the 400 meter free (5:27.14) and 800 meter free (10:44.63) while Shake placed fifth in the 50 meter free (33.52).

The Arrows won't compete again until the SPIRE Institute Invitational is held Dec. 5-7.
