Junior Abbie Fabo also stuffed the stat sheet with 13 kills and 19 digs, giving her three double-doubles this season.

Sophomore Emily Adkinson, the nation's leader in hitting percentage at last check, had 10 kills and two errors in 18 chances (.444). Senior setter Molly Hilfinger distributed the ball beautifully among the above-mentioned trio and was credited with 42 assists to go with a career-high 19 digs.

Hilfinger also had four kills while freshman Courtney Burns got into the books with seven kills and junior Elise Harcek chipped in four.

The whole team had to step up defensively in the absence of junior tri-captain Jaclyn Brandt who missed Friday's match with an ankle injury.

Sophomore Sammi Marcum had seven digs, as did senior Brittany Kempf who was seeing her first action of the season after being sidelined with an injury. Junior Sabrina Kinney had three digs to go with a big assist on one of Hilfinger's four kills.

Megan Christmann had a match-high 19 kills for AB and Madison Johnson (16), Caitlin Cain (11) and Jayla McCrary (11) all reached double figures in that category as well. Setter Kayla Peterson had 51 assists as her team hit .161.

UC hit at a .220 clip.

Ursuline will host Davis & Elkins College at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday (Oct. 5) at Hathaway Brown School's Corrigan-Daniels Athletic Center.
