UC won the first two sets, 25-16 and 25-18, before SIU won the third, 25-21. The Arrows put any hope of a Tiger comeback to rest by taking control early in the fourth set and cruising to a 25-12 win.
The Arrows improved to 13-3 overall and 5-1 in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference while the Tigers, who have now dropped two straight after three consecutive wins, are 3-13 overall and 1-3 in the conference.
One night after racking up a career-high 19 kills, junior Abbie Fabo had 17 kills and 10 digs to pick up her fifth double-double of the season.
Senior setter Molly Hilfinger picked up her sixth double-double with 45 assists and 19 digs while also adding four kills.
Sophomore standouts Emily Adkinson and Makayla Windau continue to impress. Adkinson, the nation's leader in hitting percentage, had 11 kills and three errors in 18 total attacks (.444) while Windau chipped in nine kills and 13 digs.

Edinboro University on Wednesday (Oct. 15). That match will start at 7:00 p.m.
