Volleyball Team Sweeps Mills College to Snap Two-Match Skid

OAKLAND, Calif. – The Ursuline College volleyball team snapped its two-match losing streak with a 3-0 win over Mills College on Monday (Oct. 14) night in what was the first of four matches in four consecutive days as part of Ursuline's Fall Break trip.

With the win, the Arrows climbed a game over the .500 mark at 10-9 while the Cyclones have lost their first 17 matches to start the year.

Freshman Makayla Windau led a balanced Ursuline attack with seven kills, just three fewer than Mills had as a team. Freshman Emily Adkinson chipped in six kills while hitting at a .417 clip while and senior Alex Leister added five.

Junior setter Molly Hilfinger was credited with 21 assists and her classmate Kelly Stenger recorded 25 digs while Hilfinger and Windau each contributed 11.
