WILBERFORCE, Ohio – Despite a season-high 19 points from junior guard Katie Cappello, Ursuline dropped Thursday’s non-conference game to Wilberforce University, 74-64.
The Arrows are now 3-15 overall while the Bulldogs improved to 5-20.
Cappello hit seven of her 13 field goal attempts but the rest of the Arrows had a tough shooting night, connecting on just 34.9 percent (17-49) of their chances while Wilberforce had a great night on the offensive boards (20) and attempted 10 more shots in the game.
Kendra Moss led the Bulldogs with 14 points and eight rebounds and Dominique Fischer contributed 13 points off the bench.
On Tuesday (Feb. 5), the Arrows will host their first home game since Jan. 19 when
Central State University comes to Pepper Pike. Max Radigan will have the call live on the
