NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Trevecca Nazarene University showed why it’s the only team without a loss in conference play in Saturday’s (Jan. 26) 100-47 win over the Arrows.
With the loss, the Arrows dipped to 3-14 overall and 0-4 in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference. Trevecca Nazarene improved to 14-6 overall and 4-0 in conference play.
Sophomore Darria Baker led three Arrows who scored in double figures with 12 points. Junior Natalie Cook poured in 11 and senior Laura Campbell contributed 10.
Four different Trojans scored at least 10 points, led by Rachel Raby’s 20.
As was the case last Saturday, TNU used its size advantage to capitalize on the boards. The Trojans outrebounded the Arrows by 20, 55-35.
The Arrows return to action on Thursday (Jan. 31) when they visit
Wilberforce University. Tip-off is set for 5:00 p.m. and Max Radigan will have the call live on the
