Box Score vs. Urbana
URBANA, Ohio – The Ursuline College volleyball team dropped a pair of Great Midwest Athletic Conference matches on Saturday (Sep. 29), falling to both Travecca Nazarene University and host Urbana University in three sets.
TNU won the hotly-contested match 27-25, 26-24 and 25-23. Set scores against Urbana were 25-13, 25-11 and 25-22.
The Arrows are now 2-18 overall and 1-3 in conference play while Urbana improved to 4-13 (2-1 G-MAC) and Travecca Nazarene split Saturday’s matches to conclude the day 11-8 (1-1 G-MAC).
Junior Alex Leister combined for 24 kills in the two matches while freshman Elise Harcek had 16, including a career high of 11 against Travecca Nazarene. Ursuline combined for 58 kills on the day, 43 of which came on assists from junior Ashley Reinhart.
Leister also led the team with 33 digs while sophomore Kelly Stenger had 31 and freshman Sabrina Kinney had 23.
The Arrows return to action on Tuesday (Oct. 4) with a road game up the road against
John Carroll University. The match will be covered with a
