The Ursuline basketball team dropped its home contest on Tuesday evening to Cedarville, 86-47. Katie Cappello led the way for the Arrows with 17 points, while Kayla Jenerette had a game-high 21 points for Cedarville.
With just five minutes left in the first half, Ursuline pulled to within three points at 22-19. However, Cedarville began a charge that would push its lead out to 19 points before Ursuline hit a three-pointer before half to trail by 16 at the break.
The second half wasn't much different as the Yellow Jackets outscored Ursuline 45-22 in the second half.
Laura Campbell joined Cappello in double-figures with 11 points, while Brooke Trauthwein had a team-high and game-tying high six rebounds. For Cedarville, Reagan Ryan scored 18 and Deborah Gordon had 14.
Ursuline will now hit the road for three games, starting Saturday, February 11 at 2:00 p.m. against Urbana. All the games will be broadcast live on the UC Sports Network, with pregame starting about 15 minutes prior to tip.
