The Ursuline Arrows (6-9, 0-1) had its three-game win streak ended on Saturday afternoon at home, as Malone (8-9, 1-1) topped UC 64-52. Katie Cappello led the way with a game-high 17 points, but Lindsy Snyder had a team-high 14 points and a game-high 10 rebounds to lead the Patriots past Ursuline.

Ursuline utilized a late charge in the first half to take a 27-24 lead into halftime, however, Malone shot 50% in the second half and made 10-of-14 free throws, mostly down the stretch, to outscore Ursuline 40-25 in the final 20 minutes. The Arrows shot 40% and held Malone to only 28% shooting in the first half, but the Arrows struggled to make baskets in the second half, shooting 10-32 from the floor and missing all six of their three-point attempts.

Tyler Gassett had a team-high nine rebounds to go with six points, while Brooke Trauthwein returned to action and scored nine points, twice hitting from long range.

Two other players for Malone reached double figures as Syndee Penn and Lauren Myers each scored 12 points.
