The Ursuline College volleyball team (2-3) earned its second win of the season, with a three-game sweep of Central State (0-1). The Arrows took the match 25-14, 25-8, 25-12, as ten different players recorded a kill in the contest.
Alex Leister led the way with a game-high six kills, to go with six digs, while
Kelley Plas had a game-high 12 assists. As a team, the Arrows had 45 digs to Central's 39 - led by Briana Mlady's eight digs.
Highlighting the match was the fact the Arrows recorded a season-high 12 service aces, which was one more than Central had total kills (11).
Ursuline will return to action next week, playing its next five games and next 10 of 11 on the road, starting with a road contest at Walsh on Tuesday, September 13 at 7:00 p.m.
