The Ursuline College volleyball team dropped its Tuesday evening home match to Case Western Reserve University in four games, 25-21, 18-25, 25-22, and 25-18. Surrounding the match was the Dig for the Cure Night, which helped raise awareness and money for the Susan G. Koman Breast Cancer Foundation.

In front of a packed house, Alex Leister (13 kills) and Jasmine Comstock (12 kills) each reached double-digits in kills, while Kelley Plas had 29 assists. Four Arrows had double-digit digs, including a match-high 26 by Kelly Stenger. Comstock had 17, while Plas had 13 and Leister 11.

Ursuline had a large advantage in the service game, recording 12 service aces to just four for Case. Plas and Leister each had three, while Comstock and Maureen Kelly each had two. Stenger and Ashley Reinhart recorded one ace a peice.

Volleyball will return to action on Thursday, October 13 at Notre Dame. The match is scheduled to start at 7:00 p.m.
