Ursuline College Athletics

The Ursuline College volleyball team jumped out to a 9-2 start in the month of September and sophomore Emily Adkinson was a big reason why. In the latest NCAA statistical rankings, released Monday (Sep. 29) night, Adkinson leads all of Division II in hitting percentage (.478 at the end of the month).

Adkinson had a career-high 17 kills against Ohio Valley on Sep. 27 and has recorded a career-high five digs twice in the past month.

She leads the team in both kills (103) and blocks (27).
