Joe Caraciolo

Caraciolo was named Head Men’s Track & Field and Cross Country Coach in October 2024 with the addition of men’s sports at UC. He also serves as Assistant Women’s Cross Country & Track & Field Coach and was the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach during the 2024 season. 

Track & Field: 

Men’s Program 
Ryan Jeanneret placed 10th in the 800m at G-MAC Indoor Track & Field Championships in a time of 1:55.72 in the inaugural season (2026)

Thelonius Lucien placed 11th in the1500m G-MAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships in a time of 3:58.74 in the inaugural season (2026).  Lucien become the first individual male athlete in UC history to reach a final.

Prior to Ursuline: The 2018 USTFCCCA East Region Assistant Coach of the Year (indoor) joined the Arrows in 2021 after four years at Southern Connecticut State University. During this time, Caraciola coached 5 athletes to NCAA provisional qualifying marks and 9 Northeast-10 Conference individual wins in LJ & TJ.

Prior to his time as an Assistant Coach, Caraciolo was the Strength & Conditioning Intern at Southern Connecticut State University where he assisted the Head S&C Coach in leading workouts and demonstrating proper lifting techniques for 13 sports. 

Joe was a decorated four-year jumper at Southern Connecticut State University holding 5th all time record in SCSU Men's long jump. He was the Northeast-10 Conference Champion - Men's Long Jump in 2015 and received All New England Honors all four years as an Owl.
