Ursuline College Athletics

2013: Started all 21 matches as Ursuline’s left back…key member of the line in front of freshman goalie Helen Jazzar that limited opponents to just 111 shots on goal in 21 games (5.3 per game).

2012: Appeared in 12 matches and made six starts…was in the starting lineup for each of the first six contests before missing time due to injury…in matches she started, the Arrows were 4-2 and allowed just five goals (0.83 per game)…UC also posted two shutouts during that six-game span…notched her first career point when she assisted on the lone UC goal in a 2-1 loss at Marygrove (Sep. 22)…also tallied an assist in the 3-1 win over Wheeling Jesuit (Oct. 26).

Bay Village High School: Played for Jack Griffiths and was a starter for the Rockets varsity team all four years…elected as team captain in her junior and senior seasons and was tabbed as the team’s ‘Most Valuable Player’ both seasons…named second team All-Cleveland and first team All-West Shore Conference as a sophomore, junior and senior…played varsity basketball as a freshman and sophomore.

Personal: Born November 1, 1993 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania...daughter of Nick and Julie Pugliese...has four sisters: Genevieve, Jacqueline, Maggie and Paris…majoring in special education…volunteered with Bay High’s Pupil Assistance in Learning program where she mentored students with disabilities…participated in choir and Bay’s Youth Philanthropic Foundation…also worked with the HUDDLE group.
