2013: Recipient of the school-wide Arrows Champion Award for demonstrating outstanding character…named the team’s Most Valuable Player by head coach Chris Klampe…earned first team All-Great Midwest Athletic Conference honors...finished with a team-high five wins (5-5)…was 1-1 at second singles, 2-4 at third singles and 2-0 in the fourth slot…earned her first victory of the season with a 6-1, 6-1 triumph over her opponent from Kentucky Wesleyan (March 23)…beat Kentucky Wesleyan’s Sammy Jo Brett 6-2, 6-2 on April 6…defeated her opponent from Central State in both meetings (April 12 and April 20)…also knocked off Geneva College’s Alyssa Kuhn 6-3, 6-0 on April 15…won a team-high four doubles matches with classmate Ashley Reinhart as the duo finished 4-5 at second doubles...also dropped two first doubles matches with senior Betsy Edwards.

Personal: Born October 22, 1991 in Marshallville, Ohio...daughter of Al and Cathy Leister...has a sister, Lauren…majoring in nursing…honor roll student in high school and member of the National Honor Society…Dean’s List student at Ursuline College.
