Ursuline College Athletics

2012-13: Nominated by head coach Adam Katz as the team’s ‘Most Valuable Athlete’…swam the best 200 breast (2:38.29) in program history at the Appalachian Swimming Conference Championships (Feb. 14-16) to take sixth place…placed eighth in the 100 breast at the conference meet with a time of 1:11.87…also swam third on record-setting relay teams in the 200 medley (1:55.07), 200 free (1:44.36), 400 free (3:52.97) and 800 free (8:43.86), all of which came at the Appalachian Swimming Conference Championships (Feb. 14-16).

2011-12: Named the Team MVP...qualified for the championship finals at the conference meet in the 100 breaststroke event.

2010-2011: Established new school records and personal best times at the Appalachian Conference Championships in the 100 yard and 200 yard breaststroke races...top finisher for the Arrows at the conference meet with a 14th place finish out of 36 swimmers in the 100 yard breaststroke...during the regular season, she competed on the 200 yard medley relay and 200 yard freestyle relay teams...recipient of the Arrows Award. 

Canfield High School: Earned four varsity letters while swimming for Andrea Linelli at Canfield High School...districts qualifier in her junior and senior seasons...served as a team captain during her senior year.

Personal: Born November 29, 1991 in Youngstown, Ohio...daughter of Mark and Leanne Butta...majoring in nursing...has earned Dean's List status every semester at Ursuline College.
