Athens Christian School: Spent time at third base, shortstop, behind the plate and in the outfield during her three years on the varsity at Athens Christian School…in 2012, her high school coach Steve Cummings tagged her as the Most Improved Player and as a senior, she earned honorable mention status in Region 8A in addition to earning the Golden Eagle Award…comes from a program that reached the GHSA A-Private School Elite Eight in her junior year (eventually finishing fifth) before advancing to the Sweet Sixteen in her senior year.
