GAME ONE HIGHLIGHTS: 

  • The first seven innings of the game went fast, with both teams getting out of defense in around 4 batters each.  

  • In extra innings, Ohio Dominican took the lead off two doubles, allowing runners to score.  

  • The Arrows were close to coming back with bases loaded before the last out was called.

  • Runs/Hits/Errors: Arrows – 0/3/0, Panthers – 2/7/0 

  • Runners left on base: Arrows – 9 Panthers – 5

  • ODU started out hot with a 4-run lead in the top of the second inning after a double to center field and a walk.  

  • The Panthers were on the score with one in the fifth and two in the sixth.  

  • Heidi Earl hit a home run as the leadoff hitter in the sixth inning to score the Arrows second run.
