GAME ONE HIGHLIGHTS:Ā 

  • The Pioneers started off the top of the 1stĀ inning with 5 runs scored, 2 of which were unearned runs.Ā Ā 

  • Casey Barton came out to bat first for the Arrows with a single to center field that sparked energy forĀ Ivanney RamirezĀ who came out and tripled to left fieldĀ to bring Casey Barton home.Ā Ā 

  • Holly EarlĀ and Angeleah SaltenisĀ bothĀ continued the spark for the Arrows withĀ back-to-backĀ RBI's. At the end of the 1stĀ inningĀ the Arrows trailed by 1, 5-4.Ā Ā 

  • The score stayed stagnant until the bottom of the 4thĀ inning when UC brought in anotherĀ run with Hannah Rudd scoring. Hannah Rudd continued herĀ streak with a single in the 5thĀ inning to bring home Bri Bowles.Ā Ā 

  • The Arrows took care of business with 3 easy outs in the 6thĀ inning from routine fly out and ground out plays.Ā TheyĀ continued onĀ the offensive side of the 6thĀ inning, scoring 3 runs from a double from Heidi EarlĀ and groundouts from Angeleah SaltenisĀ and Nicole Brant-Badillo.Ā Ā 

  • UC ended the game in command by nailing 3 plays back-to-back.Ā Ā
