Season Opening Loss for Arrows Soccer

HIGHLIGHTS
  • The Golden Eagles had the first goal of the game in the first half at the 24th minute.
  • The Arrows tied the game up in the second half at the 63rd minute. Alexis Ivory set Amelie Fernandez up for the first goal of the season to tie the game 1-1.
  • After Clarion had 12 shot attempts in the first half, the Arrows picked up defensive play to tie the Golden Eagles at 9 shots each in the second half.
  • The Golden Eagles put their final shot in goal just six minutes after UC's goal to lock in their win.
  • Nicola Ehrbar and Billie Kaiser had five shots, both with one on goal.
  • Fernandez went two for two with shots on goal. One of which secured the Arrows only point.
  • Laetitia Scheunemann had her debut in goal, making nine saves out of 11 shots on goal.
