Bowling Opens Season With Tournament Single Game High

The Ursuline College Bowling team opened their season this past weekend in Richmond, KY. The Arrows placed 3rd out of 5 participating teams at Galaxy Bowling & Entertainment hosted by Union College.
 
The Arrows shot a combined score of 3177 on the weekend with five Arrows finishing in the top 17 individually.
 
Bridget Kinney led her team bowling the tournament single game high of 243. She finished 10th overall with the Arrows high four game series of 686.
 
Giovanna Radilovic finished in 11th place, just one spot behind Kinney. She bowled a tournament average of 170 with a personal single game high of 211.
 
Alexis Phillips came in 12th place with an individual total of 677 for an average of 169.25.
 
Evelynn Prelog and Sienna Mangum followed up in 16th and 17th place with a total of 587 and 547 respectively.
 
Head Coach, Bryon Tobin stated "I am extremely proud of our team effort this opening weekend. A special shout out to Bridget Kinney on being our Arrows Bowler of the Week, shooting the tournament single-game high of 243. We are excited to get back to work to continue to grow and develop. Big things are definitely to come!"
 
 The Arrows travel to Erie, PA for the Grapevine Classic this upcoming weekend. Ursuline will take on fellow NCAA schools on Saturday and Sunday, October 12th and 13th at Eastland Bowl.
