The Great Midwest Athletic Conference named Alexis Phillips the G-MAC Bowler of the Month. The conference awards one bowler, male and female, with this honor monthly throughout the bowling season.

Alexis was named Athlete of the Month after her performances at both the Bulldog Bash and Grapevine Classic this month. In her season opener at the Bulldog Bash, she finished 12th overall individually with a four game total of 677.

She surpassed that the following weekend at the Grapevine Classic, receiving All-Tournament team after placing in the top five bowlers. Phillips bowled her single game high of 241 and a 189.2 average on the weekend.

In October, she has bowled a total of 1623 for an average of 180.33 on the month.

Alexis, along with her teammates, travel to back-to-back tournaments this weekend. On Saturday, they travel to Coschocton, OH to compete in the Muskie Mash. On Sunday, they will be at the Buckeye Baker Classic in Columbus, OH.
