Softball Wins Two On Senior Day

GAME ONE HIGHLIGHTS:
  • The Arrows got the first run of the game in the second inning when Madison Jakosh scored off a hit from Spencer Mohr.
  • The Panthers answered with four hits in the fourth as the Arrows added in one more from Jakosh again in the bottom of the inning to bring the score to 2-4.
  • UC battled in the sixth inning to tie the game up at 5-5 with three runs. Dalton and Mohr both scored on a hit down the left-field line from Herrera. Vallejo scored shortly after while escaping the run downs on field on Kopp's hit.
  • With the game forced into extra innings, the Panthers weren't able to score in the top of the eighth. A hit from Kopp sent Vallejo home to win the game.

TOP PERFORMERS: GAME TWO HIGHLIGHTS:
  • The Arrows had the first to runs of the game from Herrera and Dalton. Barton and Vallejo picked up RBI's on the runs.
  • UC had four stolen bases in the second game.
  • The Arrows clinched the game on their two runs in the fifth inning from Kopp and a pinch running performance from Sydni Taylor. Dalton and Hoffman both tallied RBI's.
