The Ursuline College soccer team fell to top-seeded Cedarville University 2-1 on a goal in the final five minutes on Thursday afternoon.

The Arrows opened the scoring in the 16
th minute when Senior,
Addisen Holt found the back of the goal. Just four minutes later, Cedarville answered with a goal of their own when Maya Ryder lined up for a corner kick. She set her teammate Megan McClish up for a header to tie the game 1-1. Cedarville outshot the Arrows 13-6 in the first half.

In the second half, the Yellow Jackets held possession for a majority of the time, firing off 16 total shots compared to UC's 6.

Despite Ursuline's defensive efforts, Cedarville struck for the game-winning goal in the 84
th minute when Mary Kate Wyer was left open to make it 2-1 with under six minutes to play. The Arrows were unable to close the gap in the remaining time.

Cedarville outshot Ursuline 29-12 with 12-5 shots on goal in the game and held a 6-2 edge on corner kicks. Arrow's Goalkeeper,
Kathy Reich reached her career high of 10 saves in the match up.

The Arrows will remain home for their next match up against Lake Erie on October 13
th at 3:30 pm.
