The Ursuline College soccer team dropped a tough 1-0 decision on a cold Thursday evening to Ashland University.

The two teams played hard in the first half. An evenly matched at five shots and two saves each led to a scoreless first 45 minutes.

The contest remained scoreless until the 63
rd minute when Ashland connected off a corner kick that Bailey Clark placed in the back of the net to give the Eagles a 1-0 lead. Shortly after, UC had a chance to tie it and put a shot in the back of the net. The goal was deemed offsides which ultimately resulted in the victory for Ashland.

Kathy Reich tallied five saves in the game. The Arrows saw five of twelve shots on goal compared to the Eagles' six of thirteen.

Ursuline hosts Tiffin University in their final home game of the season on Saturday at 1:00 PM. The Arrows' will honor their eight seniors prior to the game;
