The Ursuline College soccer team picked up a 3-0 shutout win over visiting Malone University on Saturday afternoon.

The first half had both teams scoreless with defenses working hard to put a stop to the back and forth offensive action. The Arrows came out of the break ready to take the lead and lined up for a corner kick five minutes into the second half.
Jesmila Yohendran put in a perfect ball to
Addisen Holt who lined up
Odessa Strizzi for the first goal of the game.

The Pioneers fired off two shots before
Kristina Spitzer put in the Arrow's second goal.

Less than 2 minutes later, Ursuline capped the scoring when
Nicola Ehrbar found the back of the net to make it 3-0.

The Arrows out shot Malone 11-6 in the game and 6-2 in shots on goal. Ursuline goalkeeper
Kathy Reich made two saves in the win.

Ursuline remains at home to face off against Cedarville University on Thursday at 3:30 pm. Â
