The Ursuline College tennis team opened the spring portion of the schedule with a 4-3 road win over Lourdes College on Saturday afternoon.
The match was held at the Shadow Valley Tennis & Fitness Indoor Center in Maumee, Ohio.
Ursuline picked up a win in the fourth singles match when
Megan Fortney defeated Erynn Groll 6-3, 6-1.
In the fifth singles,
Bea Torres-Fults defeated Jordan Bucher 6-3, 4-6, 10-8 for the second win of the afternoon.
Taylor Norris won in the number six singles slot 6-3, 6-0.
In doubles,
Clare Hunt and Fortney defeated the Lourdes duo of Vanessa Skouroukos and Erynn Groll 6-4.
Kiara Anderson and Alex Pignatiello defeated Bucher and Ari Rodriguez in the third doubles 7-6.
