Hannah Trent drove a triple to the wall in right center field to help rally Ursuline to a 4-3 win over Barton College on day two of the Fastpitch Spring Dreams Classic in North Myrtle Beach.

The Arrows jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the first inning after senior
Leah Leshnack picked up a one-out single through the left side of the infield. Junior
Brooklyn Miller followed with a base hit back up the middle and senior
Karlie Wilbur drew a walk to load the bases.

Seniors
Sadie Jones and
Alison Hughes drew back-to-back walks to push the first two runs of the game across.

The Bulldogs offense woke up in the top of the seventh inning as they were able to plate three runs to take a 3-2 lead in the final inning.

Ursuline responded in the bottom of the seventh inning when Jones reached on an infield single and Hughes followed with her second hit of the game back up the middle to put two runners. Trent delivered the game winning triple to the gap in right center field to score Jones and Hughes to give Ursuline the win.

Miller finished the game 3-for-4 with a run scored and also tossed 6 2/3 innings while allowing one earned run on seven hits while striking out seven and walking four. Jones picked up the win with a 1/3 of an inning of work with one strikeout and also went 2-for-2 with an RBI and a run scored at the plate.
