The Ursuline College soccer team won its second straight match on the road as they defeated Trevecca Nazarene University 2-0 on Saturday afternoon in Nashville.

The Arrows struck first in the 12
th minute of the game when senior
Sarah Mitchell scored her fifth goal of the season on a pass from junior
Rachel Blumfeldt to make it 1-0.

Ursuline led 1-0 at the intermission.

In the second half, freshman
Hannah Pickens notched her third goal of the season in the 77
th minute to make it 2-0. It was her second goal in as many games.

The Arrows outshot the Trojans 11-10 in the game while Trevecca edged Ursuline 4-2 in corner kicks.

Saturday marked the second shutout of the season for Ursuline and the seventh in the career of junior goalkeeper
Gina Cerny.

Ursuline returns home this Thursday, October 17 to take on Ohio Dominican University at 3:00 PM.
