The Ursuline College softball team completed the regular season by sweeping the visiting Hillsdale Chargers in a home doubleheader on Friday afternoon.

The Arrows and Chargers were scoreless through the first three innings of game one before the Ursuline offense broke through against Hillsdale starter Erin Hunt in the fourth inning.
Â
After Hillsdale took a 1-0 lead in the top of the inning, senior
Brigitte Snow drew a leadoff walk to start the bottom half of the frame and came around to score on a double by junior
Alison Hughes to make it 1-1. Later in the inning, junior

Â
Ursuline tacked on a run in the fifth inning after a one out triple from junior
Sadie Jones. Senior

Â
The Arrows added some extra insurance in the bottom of the sixth inning when junior
Leah Leshnack started the inning with a double to right center and came around to score on a base hit from Hughes for her second RBI of the game to make it 4-1.
Â
Rosshirt finished the day with a complete game by allowing just the one run on five hits while striking out four.
Â
In game two, the starting pitchers from both sides were in control through the first five innings.
Â
For Ursuline, Jones did not allow a hit until the fifth inning after walking a batter in the first inning.
Â
With the game still scoreless in the sixth, Leshnack drove a double to the gap in right center to score senior
Brigitte Snow for the game's only run.
Â
