Arrows Run by Panthers 4-0 on Thursday Afternoon

The Ursuline College soccer team picked up a big 4-0 win at home on Thursday afternoon over Kentucky Wesleyan.

Ursuline jumped in front 1-0 in the 12th minute when freshman Odessa Strizzi headed in a pass from sophomore Jarah Froehlich to give the Arrows an early lead.

Less than 10 minutes later, Strizzi used a lead pass from junior Amanda Cassella to find the back of the net for the second time in the half and make it 2-0.

After a Panthers foul, junior Sarah Mitchell put a perfect free kick pass right on the head of junior Brooke Mahabir who scored her first goal of the season to make it 3-0 at the intermission.

It took 12 seconds into the second half for Ursuline to score its fourth and final goal. Junior Amanda Cassella picked up her first goal as an Arrow on a pass from Kara Martin to make it 4-0.

The four goals were the most scored in a game by Ursuline dating back to exactly one-year ago on October 11, 2017 when they defeated Ohio Dominican 4-1.

Ursuline will host Trevecca Nazarene on Saturday afternoon at 1pm in the regular season home finale.
