The Ursuline College soccer team will play on the road for the first time in 2017 as they travel to Clarion University on Sunday for a non-conference match.

The Arrows are coming off a 2-0 shutout win to open Great Midwest play on Wednesday over Lake Erie College. It was the fifth straight year that Ursuline opened conference play with a victory.

Jarah Frohlich scored her first collegiate goal to put the Arrows in front 2-0 and the defense did the rest.

Through the first two matches of the season, Ursuline has yet to trail and freshman goalkeeper
Gina Cerny has registered 12 saves.

Clarion lost their season and conference opener to Gannon University 1-0 in the second overtime on August 31 and bounced back to beat Lock Haven 2-1 last Saturday. The Golden Eagles tied Mercyhurst 1-1 on Wednesday.

The Golden Eagles were picked 15
th in the PSAC preseason coaches' poll and return their leading goal scorer in Marina Kelly from a year ago.

Ursuline will remain on the road for a pair of Great Midwest matches starting on Thursday with a trip to Ohio Dominican at 7:00pm and then will travel to Findlay on Saturday at 1:00pm.
