The Ursuline College soccer team concluded its southern road trip with a 2-1 win in Nashville, Tennessee over Trevecca Nazarene on Saturday afternoon.
After storms delayed the start of the match, the Arrows found their offense in the first half when sophomore
Aline Czaplicki found the back of the net on an assist from
Emily Justus to give the Arrows a 1-0 lead.
Ursuline's defense that has been strong throughout the season allowed only one shot in the first half.

Steph Chlad connected with redshirt freshman
Allie Moening for her first goal of the season to put Ursuline in front 2-0.
The Trojans made things interesting in the 80
th minute when Chelsey Russom scored to cut the deficit to 2-1, however, the Arrows defense held the lead over the final 10 minutes.
Ursuline outshot Trevecca 11-9 in the match while senior goalkeeper
Helen Jazzar made four saves.
The win gave Ursuline head coach
Jason Kubbins his 100
th career win as the head coach of the Arrows. Kubbins is the all-time winningest coach at Ursuline and was inducted into the Hall of Fame last spring.
Ursuline will travel to Ohio Valley University on September 22 to take on the Fighting Scots. The match is set to kickoff at 3:00pm.
