Ursuline made the 1-0 lead hold up through the remainder of the first half despite the shot total being almost even with the Arrows holding a 6-5 edge.
It was once again an early goal in the second half that proved to be the game winner as this time Dackin found redshirt freshman
Allie Moening for the score to make it 2-0 just thirty-six seconds into the second half.
Malone got on the board with a long goal in the 60th minute to cut the deficit to 2-1 but the Arrows defense was able to keep the Pioneers off the board the final 30 minutes of play.
The Arrows outshot the Pioneers 14-11 in the match a week after Malone became the first team this season to outshoot Ursuline in a 3-1 victory.

Ursuline will await the winner of the #1 seed Trevecca Nazarene and #4 seeded Davis & Elkins which is being played tonight in Nashville. The championship match will be played on Saturday afternoon at 1:00 PM CST/2:00 PM EST/ with the winner receiving an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
