The Ursuline College soccer team shutout visiting Kentucky Wesleyan 4-0 on Saturday afternoon to improve to 6-2-1 in the G-MAC.
Â
The Arrows scored in the first 10 minutes when junior
Steph Chlad finished a pass from redshirt freshman
Allie Moening to make it 1-0.
Â
Ursuline was not finished scoring in the first half as Chlad once again found the back of the net, this time on a pass from senior
Cassie Cripe to make it 2-0 in the 30
th minute.
Â
Freshman
Jill Bohling then connected with Cripe on a pass from the left side to make it a commanding 3-0 lead at the half.
Â
Moening notched the fourth goal of the game in the second half on Cripe's second assist on the afternoon.
Â
The four goals was the most Ursuline had scored this season and most since last year's quarterfinal match Alderson Broaddus when they also scored four goals.
Â
Ursuline outshot Kentucky Wesleyan 20-9 in the match and senior goalkeeper
Helen Jazzar made five saves while collecting her third shutout of the year.
