Box Score The Ursuline College soccer team dropped a 3-0 decision to visiting Lake Erie College on Tuesday afternoon in non-conference play.
The Storm (3-10-2) got on the board in the 33rd minute when sophomore Ashley Pryce scored from the right side to make it 1-0. Lake Erie added their second goal on a penalty kick in the 77th minute from junior Elizabeth Awauh to make it 2-0.
The third goal came in the 82nd minute when Pryce found the back of the net for the second time in the match to seal the win for the Storm.
Freshman goalkeeper Samantha Hudson made seven saves in her first start of the season while her counterpart freshman Marissa Brannon had six.
Lake Erie attempted 15 shots on the afternoon and Ursuline finished with 13. It was the third time this season that Ursuline has been held without a goal with the other two coming against Davis & Elkins and Bellarmine on opening weekend.
The Arrows will return to G-MAC play on Thursday afternoon when Ohio Valley visits Pepper Pike. The match has a start time of 2:00pm instead of the previously listed 3:30pm and can be heard live on the UC Sports Network.
