At the Allegheny Invitational on May 10, freshman Bea Indurain was second in the 100 hurdles prelims with a time of 14.79 and the only person that beat her was assistant coach Maddy Outman (14.39), running unattached. In the finals, Indurain was the third collegiate to finish (14.88) while Outman won the race in 14.09.

She finished her first year at Ursuline as the school record holder in three individual events after setting the top marks of 8.97 in the 60 hurdles and 48.01 in the 300 hurdles during the indoor season. At Oberlin’s Bob Kahn Invitational (April 6), she turned in the best performance ever by an Arrow with a 14.77 in the 100 hurdles.
