Alaric Best was named Head Cross Country Coach and Assistant Track & Field Coach at Ursuline in July of 2015. In August of 2017, Best was promoted to Associate Head Track and Field Coach. In January of 2021, Best was promoted to Head Track & Field Coach. Named Director of Cross Country and Track & Field in October 2024, Best introduced Ursuline’s first-ever men’s cross country and track & field programs. He now oversees all women’s and men’s cross country and track & field programs at UC. Year: 12 at UC in 2026-2027 season.

Men's Program
Ryan Jeanneret placed 10th in the 800m at G-MAC Indoor Track & Field Championships in a time of 1:55.72 in the inaugural season (2026)
Thelonius Lucien placed 11th in the1500m G-MAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships in a time of 3:58.74 in the inaugural season (2026).  Lucien become the first individual male athlete in UC history to reach a final.
