Micki Stewart came to Ursuline College in May of 2010 and has been an integral member of the athletic department during the NCAA application process. Stewart makes sure all at Ursuline are compliant with NCAA regulations while also monitoring recruiting and eligibility.
She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Kent State University in 1998 while earning her Bachelor of Science degree in advertising. Stewart later attended Temple University and earned her Master’s Degree in sport and recreation administration.
A former softball player for the Golden Flashes, Stewart started her professional career in athletics in 1999 with the Georgia Pride of the Women’s Professional Softball League where she was the Director of Marketing and Community Events.
She left for the University of Pennsylvania and worked as the Assistant Ticket Manager for the Quakers. Stewart parlayed that into becoming the Assistant Coordinator of Athletic Eligibility and Compliance at the Ivy League school in Philadelphia. In that role, she was responsible for monitoring student-athletes eligibility, financial aid and coordinating/monitoring recruiting visits. She worked at Penn for eight years before coming to Pepper Pike.
Stewart lives in Twinsburg, Ohio.
